Wellington Riding for the Disabled

Provides a unique experience for people with disabilities through therapeutic riding. Riding is a proven therapy that develops, improves and promotes many aspects: balance and co-ordination, improved muscle tone, concentration, self discipline and self esteem, perception and spatial awareness, communication and social skills, independence and encourages decision making. Wellington RDA services the region of Wellington City right through to the Kapiti Coast. Currently offers ride programmes six days a week to individual and five special needs groups from schools.
