Wellington region's largest Dragonboat club with Womens, Mixed, and Masters teams.

Other teams such as juniors, social, or men's teams may also be formed depending on membership numbers.

Paddles, boats, and life jackets as well as experienced sweeps (steerers) and coaches are provided for training.

As well as competing locally, teams also attend NZDBA national championships and have competed in Australia, Indonesia, and China.

We run free Open Days for people wanting to try dragon boating. Contact us for details fo the next Open Day.

WhenWater training is usually 6.00 - 7.00pm for 8-12 weeks leading up to the Wellington Dragonboat Festival (mid March). Boats are launched in the lagoon at Frank Kitts Park.
At other times is usually on Sunday mornings.
Small training boats are used at the Hutt River mouth, near the end of Marine Parade in Petone.
