Ni Hao Children's Community
We are a registered charity that provides community classes to children and families who want to learn Mandarin Chinese as a Foreign Language. Our immersion classes are taught in a relaxed and fun engaging style - and cater to families who do not want an academic/serious class format for their children.
Classes are held in various locations in Wellington, in community centres or church venues, during the weekdays and Saturday.
The kind of people interested are 1) those who want to learn Mandarin Chinese as a foreign language (we have Spanish, NZ'ers, Indians, French, learning with us), 2) those of Chinese heritage who do not have fluent speakers at home, and 3) fluent speaking parents who want a fun environment where their children look forward to using the language and learning with their peers in an engaging way.
